50 Cent puts up $1M cash prize for Bellator Welterweight Grand Prix winner

There will be more than the undisputed championship at stake in the Bellator Welterweight World Grand Prix.

The tournament, which will begin this weekend at Bellator 206, will also feature a

$1-million cash prize put up by rapper and businessman 50 Cent, MMA Fighting's Jose Youngs reports.

Douglas Lima and Andrey Koreshkov will kick off the first-round matchups on Saturday. The grand prix also features Paul Daley versus Michael Page, Neiman Gracie against Ed Ruth, and champion Rory MacDonald against Jon Fitch.

Additionally, Lorenz Larkin will meet Yaroslav Amosov in an alternate bout to determine the potential fill-in for any tournament fight that requires a replacement.
