Khabib's manager: MMA fight vs. Mayweather would be 'voluntary manslaughter'

Despite apparent interest on both sides, Khabib Nurmagomedov's manager doubts a fight between his client and Floyd Mayweather Jr. will happen.

Ali Abdelaziz told TMZ Sports he believes Mayweather is all

talk and would be no match for Nurmagomedov in the Octagon.

"An MMA fight, I don't think any state athletic commission should allow that," Abdelaziz said. "It would be illegal. It would be voluntary manslaughter.

"In a boxing fight, of course, Floyd is the greatest of all time, right? But at the end of the day, Floyd do not want it ... I don't want to compare him to 50 Cent, but he wants the media."

Dana White told ESPN's "Get Up!" on Thursday that he has discussed the possibility of promoting Mayweather in the UFC, but like Abdelaziz, he doesn't foresee it happening.
